Hi!

I can't remember if I ever introduced myself, so here goes! My name is Holly, I'm 23, and I live in Whitehall, WI. I've been knitting since I was 15, when my art teacher taught me how. She taught me the basic garter stitch and casting on/off. I've built up my skills on my own from there. My new favorite thing to knit is socks. I took a sock class, couldn't seem to get it, and finally picked up a book and said "AHA! That's how I do it!" I am currently looking for an elementary teaching job, but it's next to impossible right now...perseverance is difficult! So, in my free time I knit, knit, knit! Knitting is my life.

I just sent out my first box of 27 squares today and I'm excited for them to find a new home in South Africa!

    Hi Holly, good luck with job hunting, it is so not easy at the moment. I am, however, glad that mean while you are using your spare time to produce KAS squares. At least you might take some comfort that you are certainly not wasting your time.

    Holly, lovely to have you! Good luck with finding a job, it is difficult I will agree with you, but I'm sure when the time is right the right job iwll find you. Good luck with your knitting. Look forward to being in contact in the future x x x

    Hi Holly, Good luck on finding a job. My daughter graduated last year from the Univ. and finally found a job but has to drive an hour and 20 min. each way but she needed the experience. She has a year in now and is searching for something closer to home. My sister is a big sock knitter.
