Hi Mary Anne, hope you are doing well after your surgery. My cousin suffered from a lot of pain before she had her back surgery so I hope the surgery has helped you.
I must check my stash for appropriate colours for the monkey puppets.....and try to remember the verse as well !
Joining a crochet group will be fun and a good opportunity for recruiting.

Thank you so much Linda, for your kind thoughts! Actually, this is my 5th (surgery) and they just removed an implant they put in a couple years ago. Unless they come up with something significantly new, I'm pretty much stuck with chronic pain. But it has actually been a blessing to me; it has allowed me to live with my parents (who are getting older) and spend my days crocheting :o) This is the one thing I found I can do while reclining and it helps minimize the pain somewhat. So, I'm in a good place! And as I have mentioned before, KAS has really given me a sense of purpose!
I started on one of the "mitten puppets" and I think it will be darling! After I finish it, I'm going to try it with a larger hook. I thought since it isn't going to be used as a "mitten", the stitches could be a little looser, making it a larger puppet.
Thank you again!!

Hi Linda! Thank you so much for sharing the puppet patterns! I had some minor surgery on my back Friday, so I'm just now getting back on the forum. I want to make some puppets for the children as well as some of the hexagon sweaters in larger sizes. Don't you wish there were more hours in the day lol? Of course, that's why we share our passion for KAS and bring other's on board! I'm joining a crochet group next week and I'm hoping to do some recruiting!!
Thank you again for the patterns, have an awesome weekend!
Hugs!
Mary Anne
