here are photos of my mother and my son, last sunday. She wanted him to help untangle some wool. He was really wanting to run away, but didn't dare disobey my mother ! "it itches !", "I'm bored, I might die !", "is this going to last any longer ?", was what could be heard … and much more. I can tell you the moment she finished and said "go", he basically FLEW away !

if I wasn't around to help my mum then she would use the back of a dining room chair, I haven't seen any skeins of wool in the shops Sharon maybe they don't sell them any more in the uk
I've got some waiting to be wound but when I asked hubby to help he said he would WHEN I've used all my other wool! So no time soon!
aww tell him not to be so mean cant you bribe him say you will make his favourite dinner if he helps you lol

oh this brings back memorys I spent hours doing this for my mum while she wound the skeins into balls of wool my arms use to ache but it was worth it to be given sixpence pocket money
