Hi everyone,
I've been looking for a place to donate squares and hats and other items internationally, I already have my personal favorite charities within the US. I've been following this group for some time, and have been making squares for it (I have 6 ready now), so I decided to take the plunge and join the forum.
I am really excited to get to know some of you and share ideas and projects.

Hi Shannon
Thank you for joining us!
Silly me ! Forgot to mention how to upload a photo :-)
Go to the top of the page and click "Photos"
Click "Add"
Then "click to add photos ". This will take you to your computer file. Chose the photo and click "open" ( at least that's what the option is on my computer )
Follow the prompts from there.
Hope this helps.
Ok..photos added with the 6 squares I currently have. I am knitting a square now and then I will try my hand at "May Challenge" squares.
Hi Shannon
Welcome from Western Australia.
This is certainly a great place to meet like-minded folk in a friendly supportive 'community'.
I hope you 'figure out' the posting of photos...can't wait to see your squares. I know it can be tricky to get them in the photo section....luckily I have sons with computer savvy...lol.
I hear you about making squares. It's a great thing to do while watching TV, etc. I find my fingers start to "twitch" if I'm not holding a crochet hook :-) I love that I can feed my "addiction" and provide warmth for the children. A win-win situation LOL
Welcome Shannon ! So glad you decided to join us. 6 squares is great. Could you be persuaded to add a photo of the squares? We love to see what others are doing. Do you knit or crochet, or both ?
Hi Linda, I both knit and crochet. I mostly crochet as I have done that for over 30 years. I only taught myself to knit about 5 years ago. I have this fascination with making squares, though, and make them endlessly...while watching TV, on road trips (where I am the passenger...LOL), on my break at work...since I quit smoking, I must DO something!! I make squares when I "need" to play with yarn, but don't want to work on a specific "project".
I'm more than happy to provide pics once I figure this out :)
