Here is the long-awaited pattern for the geometric squares. It's relatively easy to do but should be kept in multiples of 4 in terms of stitches and rows. A visual pattern appears below. :o)
With Color A, chain 29 (or a multiple of 4 plus 1).
Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook and across; ch 1, turn. (28)
Rows 2-4: Sc in each st across; ch 1, turn. At the end of the 4th row, change to Color B.
Row 5: Sc in next 4 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 6: Sc in next 24 sts; change to Color B for next 4 sts.
Row 7: Repeat row 5.
Row 8: Repeat row 6.
Row 9: Sc in next 8 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 10: Sc in next 20 st; change to Color B for next 8 sts.
Row 11: Repeat row 9.
Row 12: Repeat row 10.
Row 13: Sc in next 12 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 14: Sc in next 16 st; change to Color B for next 12 sts.
Row 15: Repeat row 13.
Row 16: Repeat row 14.
Row 17: Sc in next 16 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 18: Sc in next 12 st; change to Color B for next 16 sts.
Row 19: Repeat row 17.
Row 20: Repeat row 18.
Row 21: Sc in next 20 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 22: Sc in next 8 st; change to Color B for next 20 sts.
Row 23: Repeat row 21.
Row 24: Repeat row 22.
Row 25: Sc in next 24 sts; change to Color A for the rest of the row.
Row 26: Sc in next 4 st; change to Color B for next 24 sts.
Row 27: Repeat row 25.
Row 28: Repeat row 26.
Row 29-32: Sc in each st across with Color B. Fasten off.
