Starting Monday, March 26 the Knit-a-Square group on Ravelry will be holding a CAL.
We’re going to be working on one afghan square each week for at least 5 weeks - possibly more if there is enough interest. Hopefully we’ll be selecting some squares to practice a technique or a stitch that will be new to some of us. All the patterns selected will be available for free.
I hope you will crochet along with us and use this thread to show us your work and to ask any questions or share any tips about the squares we've picked.
I'll post updates to this thread - starting tomorrow with the name of the first pattern we've picked!

Totally forgot to post this week's square... duh!!
It's the Crocodile Stitch Afghan Block - Dahlia (AKA "Croco-Dahlia")
It's a free Ravelry download, but I'm not sure if its available elsewhere:

If anyone is interested in this square who isn't on Ravelry too, please PM me and I will ask the designer if I can forward a copy.
Something weird, I try to click like on this post and it says minus one.
Funny! But your "like" is registered... if you click on the link that says "4 members like this" it gives a list of the people who clicked like :)
Another cute one! This week we're doing...

Our square this week is the Center Heart Square, found here:

Finally! I had some trouble with this one - ended up starting withthese two rounds instead of Round 1 in the pattern:
Round 1- 7sc in the ring (7)
Round 2 - 2 dc in each stitch (14)
It was the only way I could get the starting circle to the right diameter.
