Thanks to the wonderful support of our moderators and Susan D., we now have the list of themes for 2016.
We must not forget that there is still 6-7 weeks of 2015 (let's not wish our lives away...lol), but this list is for those of you who like to plan ahead....and it may also prove useful for giving hints to friends and family for 'yarn pressies' for Christmas. :))
1. January - Beautiful world - Christine C.
Nature, gardens, the four seasons, etc.
2. February - Celebrating Africa - Bev
Madiba, flags/flag colours, animals, all things African.
3. March - Let's hear it for the boys - Gloria
Squares of any kind, with boys in mind.
4. April - Count me in - Anne
Learning squares, inc, letters, numbers, colours, shapes, etc.
5. May - Over the Rainbow - Sharon
6. June - Sugar and Spice.... Sue & Debbie
Squares of any kind, with girls in mind.
7. July - Opposites attract - Anneke
Light/dark colours, wide/narrow stripes, plain/pattern, etc.
8. August - Bring Me Sunshine - Heather
9. September - Anyone for....? - Robin
Olympic-inspired, community/national/international sporting teams in pjs, stripes, motifs.
10.October - Anything Goes - Susan D.
PJs, variegated, textures(all manner of fun fur) and stitches of any kind.
11. November - Pretty in Pastels - Valerie
12. December - Bits & bobs... - Susan H.
Stash-busting all those 'left-overs' in any way we choose.
Please remember that 'Plain Jane' squares are so very important, as they can give a fabulous punch of colour or provide vital contrast in each and every blanket. In 2016 our aim is to brighten the lives of the children through our beautiful squares.....so let's COLOUR THEIR WORLD !!!

I wish to thank EVERYONE who put forward suggestions for 2016. I think we have incorporated, if not all, at least as many suggestions as we possibly could. Your suggestion may not be included in a theme title, but rather in the idea/s behind a theme.
