Hi Annie, Thanks for your comment on the crocheted hat I posted. You asked about the pattern I used... Here is a link to it.

      http://www.basichatpattern.com/2010/10/front-post-double-crochet-ha...

I used a sock yarn and a light worsted weight yarn held together to get that variegated look and a 5.5-6mm hook.

      Cheers, Beth

Wow your dolls are dancing off the page. Lovely.

      Hi Annie

I have a pattern for very simple dresses that just pull over the head, but I just want to modify it slightly so it is fuller at the front to take into account any distended tummies.  The pattern is in ages 3, 5 and 7 and I am looking around for some for 8 - 10. This time I will take my sister-in-law up on her offer of the use of her cutting out table (she is a seamstress and soft furnishing maker). I usually use the floor, but that is getting to be hard work now and with 3 cats trying to help you can imagine what it is like ha ha.

Hi Annie, thank you for your kind thoughts.  The fuzzy gentleman I think you mean, is the one above the cheeky monkey, well he is a little cuddly horse. Just had a quick look at your photos.  Love the tribes and your lovely bright squares. I'm not much of a knitter, more of a crocheter and sewer of clothes.  Have some plans for dresses for KAS.

Hi Annie, your dolls are fabulous ! The children are going to love them. No need to sew them :-) I'm perplexed as to why the page wouldn't open as the link worked when I added it...oh well.

Hello, again, Annie .... The square called Rainbow Hearts Rising by Lisa Marie shows some really cute, tiny hearts.  Here is the link to her picture, and she includes a link to the directions for making that crochet heart.

Lisa Marie's work is always beautiful, so you might want to check out her photos, too.

Hope these have provided some help.  Take care.
