oh how I love this site, so much loveliness alongside humour - perfect combination! I actually thought you were having a good hair day in this pic' - just 'stepped out the salon' kind of look! :o)
Thanks Jan! it would be great if you could find the pattern but appreciate it might take a lot of rooting around!
Love all your work, such great colours and textures - beautiful. Also love your picture, you really have such a cute and fluffy face - hope you don't spit too much......!!! heee heeee love it xx
Thank you for taking the trouble to look up the Tivoli Panache yarn. I did see it on that site and at a good price but I couldn't tell what colours there were. Julia Dee uses that site for a lot of her yarns which is how I first heard of it. I saw that the Bliss came in other colourways so I may try a selection but I could have kicked myself for not recognising 'fruity' when I saw it.
I loved your KASCuddle in the slip-stitch pattern. I like those patterns but I haven't used it much since we made baby blankets last year. The Harmonic Mosaic square on site is a variation and I'm currently making some squares with that.
I love that we can learn so many new things on this site.
We run a challenge each month. For the next three months it is all about squares. We have a grand total of 55,900 squares we are trying to achieve and would love you to participate.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work. We have an awesome gallery of the work of the KAS community which is really inspiring.
Some of our members further support KAS by making a small monthly donation through Paypal (top left hand corner). This is invaluable help as it ensures we can continue to ensure that your work is speedily distributed to the most needy children in South Africa. We are deeply grateful for any donation we receive, be it monetary or squares to help the orphans. Thank you.
