    From Ronda on March 27...

    KAS SA has been having a busy, productive few weeks in the barn … and this week collected a REALLY large amount of post, a reminder of days gone by when the van was crammed full !
    Well done, knitters !
    A few weeks back we had a young visitor from Japan who came bearing gifts ! She was in SA for 5/6 days, worked hard with us all morning and flew home next day thank you Rena.

    John from Hotel Hope collected some gorgeous quilted blankets made by dear friend Sue in UK !

    and they will keep some of the 40 children in residence at Hotel Hope warm and loved.
    Words truly cannot express enough our gratitude to you, but they have to suffice right now.

    Fabulous Pinks from one our generous contributors. Antoinette hosted a luncheon for her team on Valentine’s Day however between courses there was knitting and crocheting to be done for KNIT- A - SQUARE!  Thank you for the super pink squares, the gorgeous crocheted toys who are comfortably sitting on a stunning pink blanket with dainty little flowers.

    Yesterday we had a most productive morning with plenty of post to open. Thanks Ronda Lowrie. We also welcomed Sheldon Bolle back for a few weeks before he starts his exciting adventure.

      Great selection, wonderful designs. Very happy to see the 4th blanket down has arrived, it was posted on 27th January, yet one posted on 4th December 2024 and one posted 1st July 2024 are yet to arrive.

        I was interested to read this, Diane, as I posted two parcels in June 2024 which have never shown up on the Squares List. I was rather hoping it was an oversight in the book-keeping, although I've never seen photos either.

    Squares, squares and more squares…that’s what we love. We had a busy day sorting and making up bundles to keep us busy for the next fortnight.
