Hello all! We've all done a wonderful job making beautiful squares to warm and brighten the lives of children of South Africa this year. Now it's time to relax and unwind with whatever you want! Use up scraps! Use colors you love, or patterns you love or anything that's relaxing for you during this wonderful holiday time. Hopefully, the postal strike will end soon and we can flood the South African team with our beautifully cheerful squares! Can you imagine that flood of love?! Yikes!! Have fun, happy holidays, and love to all!!
Update on the strike: Parts of the strike have ended, but there is still a problem in Johannesburg, so would everyone in the US please wait til after Christmas to send their squares, as the airmail packages arrive within two weeks, and the South African team is flooded with squares! What a happy problem, huh?

An illusion square from the Mini Christmas Challenge ... requested by Christine J. xo
With just a day to spare, here are my December projects - some scraps used up and a UFO finished!
Happy New Knitting Year everyone!
Well, it's been a busy couple of days doing a major garage clear out and completely reorganising it. However, there's been a little time to crochet and the last 14 squares for December's blanket are complete.
And these Plain Janes will compliment the corners to make the short side edges.
Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas! Xxxxxxx
My friend Judy bought this bag of yarn at a rummage sale. It is quite pale ....she thought I wanted 'light' colours when I actually said 'bright' colours ! She knows now LOL
Anyway, the bag sat on my yarn shelf for ages. Then I received a large ball of pale yellow from a neighbour. The two together were too pale so I rooted through my stash and found the brown. It has a bit of a shine to it and compliments the turquoise and yellow very nicely.
A bit more space on the yarn shelves :-)
This is for Sharon B ... Tunisian Crochet :) xo
Susanne Leverton has been busy using up her scraps with great results !
A belated Happy Christmas to all of you wonderful KASers! Hope you're all having a lovely break - however long or short it is.
Here's a Christmas Cuddle. Not as much KAS work this month as I've made 4 matinée coats with matching hats for my 2015 grandchild. I still need to make 14 squares to complete December's blanket!
A very happy Christmas to all of the KAS team across the world.
