Hi Everyone
Just for fun, I've designed a couple of granny squares for entry in the competition being run by allcrochetpatterns.net. Voting is now open and, whilst I really don't expect to win, it would be nice if I could get a few votes! The links are shown below. Each link will take you to a page displaying all the squares, with mine shown first. My personal favourite is the Rose Garden Square. The other one was meant to be called "Wheel of Fortune" but I had a bit of a technical problem and the title didn't transmit.... You get 10 votes (just click on the heart at the top right of the picture of the square), so do have a look at the others - there are some stunning designs.
The prizes include yarn, books and crochet hooks. Since virtually everything I make these days is for KAS, in the unlikely event I do win, KAS will win too! Eventually the two squares I've entered will be upsized to 8 inches.

Thanks for reading this and, if you do vote for one of my squares, thank you very much indeed!!

I've had an email from All Crochet Patterns showing me the 3 winners. I must be out of step because I didn't vote for any of those 3!
Nor did I, Patricia - but I don't mind being out of step!
Elaine, sorry you didn't win, but your squares were winners with us!
Totally agree with Lesley. :))
Thanks so much for your kind support. I do think the winning squares were lovely and deserved the prizes. I hope everyone who voted enjoyed looking at the entries.
Elaine, looking forward to seeing the Rose Garden square in a blanket !
Nice seeing a fair number of solid squares, which are better for the blankets. But some of those squares I've seen elsewhere. There's always one isn't there
I thought that too Ailsa but I think the three winners were original so I guess all's well that ends well.
Thanks for voting everyone and for your kind comments. I'm not sure the 'Wheel of Fortune' would be suitable for a KAS blanket as it's a bit holey (!) but the Rose Garden would be good. If I remember how I made it, I'll post it in the members patterns sometime....

I have just voted, your squares are lovely Elaine, good luck!
