Ah, the month I have been waiting for
and it's no April Fool's Day joke......
This month the CoM (colour of the month) is....
PINK
I felt inspired by this poem
that I discoverd.......sadly, I can't seem to locate who penned it.
Pink’s Lullaby
“Pink’s Lullaby” is a calming ode to the nurturing aspect of pink, often associated with comfort and care. It paints an image of a serene evening, where the color brings warmth to the world.
When evening comes in pastel tones,
And sunlight for the moon atones,
The sky wraps us in arms of pink,
As stars above begin to wink.
Like softest sheets on childhood bed,
Or gentle touch on sleepy head.
Pink’s lullaby, a soothing hum,
As day to night does finally succumb.
So rest your eyes, let dreams unfurl,
As pink engulfs the waking world.
To every heart, its warmth apply,
In the soft strains of pink’s lullaby.
Whichever colour and yarn inspires you to create warmth for the children, this month, please share your crafting with us all.

Encore bravo Karen et j'adore en particulier le lot de droite
Just got round to finishing off this bounty of head warmth. I knit the majority of the hats to the left with leftovers from projects in CoM March yellow.
The hats to the right are based around a bonny Patons Fab DK I had 2 x 100g balls of, teamed with other random colours to pad the selection out.
LOADS of lovely warmth just in time for the cooler times ahead, Karen. GORGEOUS bright colours....and some SWEET ones, too.
I think my faves are the one with the solid, pink band and the green one in the same set, but also the red ones in the first set. :))
Thank you Bev. I did a big packing session for KAS yesterday so they'll be 'in the mail and on their way' today. I'm guilty of procrastinating this part of the process, but it feels good to clear the decks and get ready to start all over again xx
Stunning hats Karen!♥️

LOVE the addition of some variegated for extra zing. :))
As always, your ability to plan and execute a blanket design such as this, is just amazing!!!

LOVING the randomness of the colourways, Patricia......SO pretty!
