I felt inspired by this poem
that I discoverd.......sadly, I can't seem to locate who penned it.
Pink’s Lullaby
“Pink’s Lullaby” is a calming ode to the nurturing aspect of pink, often associated with comfort and care. It paints an image of a serene evening, where the color brings warmth to the world.
When evening comes in pastel tones,
And sunlight for the moon atones,
The sky wraps us in arms of pink,
As stars above begin to wink.
Like softest sheets on childhood bed,
Or gentle touch on sleepy head.
Pink’s lullaby, a soothing hum,
As day to night does finally succumb.
So rest your eyes, let dreams unfurl,
As pink engulfs the waking world.
To every heart, its warmth apply,
In the soft strains of pink’s lullaby.

Your husband has raised the bar in the Gordon household. His squares remind me of Diane Burns knitting. Impeccable. Your have fierce competition to deal with now. But as you say buying him yarn for his birthday leaves your stash safe and intact. You might be able to steal from him soon.

Those frog eyes make such happy and colourful squares Amy. I love them. The blossoms in Washington DC are on my bucket list.
