What's on Your Hooks and Needles in February 2025?
Well, as another month ticks over, some of us are enjoying (or enduring) another month of warmer weather and some of us are hoping that that warmth is 'just around the corner'.
The CoM (colour of the month) is.....
GREY/SILVER
Grey makes me think of cloudy/stormy days and cool temps.
Silver on the other hand makes me think of sparkle and shine
......squares made with either will surely shine in a blanket.
Please share, throughout the month, whatever is on your hooks and needles.

These 13 double strand hats were actually knit during January for CoM use. It has taken me some difficulty and time to sew them up, nevertheless, here they are all ready for South Africa eventually.
Karen, these warm and comforting hats will be loved for years and years. I just wish we could wave a magic wand and give your hands the relief they need. Take care of yourself.
Clearing out bobs and bits, as well as my yarn stash.
60 cm block.
It is sad when you have so many small balls you can make 18 squares using the magic knot method for making a new yarn ball. Even sadder when I have enough small bits to make even another 20....at least.
Fabulous squares, Amy. Really loving the large square and think it will be a stunning centerpiece in a blanket.
The striped stashbuster squares all look warm and cozy. That's what we want in a blanket.
Love the colours of the 60cm block. The smaller ones will fit in anywhere and make the blankets colourful and interesting.
It is not sad at all - it is ingenious when the said squares are as creative and colourful as these - keep up the stash busting Amy, I love it xx
Beautful squares Bev! Your knitwork is always so neat and I second Patricia, it is first class! Love the colors, even on the washed out cake :)))
! x 16" square and 3 x 8" squares from a 'cake' containing 'greys'. Oops, the photo of the cake looks a little 'washed out'.
Ever so neat Bev and a really imaginative way to use a lone, stray yarn cake xx
What a wonderful cake that produced great squares.
