WELCOME TO NOVEMBER
The CoM (colour of the month) is......
BLACK
An understated colour that can go unnoticed until you are looking to make another colour or a pattern stand out.
It is not an 'easy' colour to knit with, if like me, your eyes are getting just a little older.
This month, whatever you may have on your hooks and needles, a little black can go a long way......
It makes a fabulous contrasting colour
Thinking zebra stripes?????
So if you have a little (or a lot) of black in your stash.....
please consider popping a little into a square or two.

A marvelous use of scraps. Loving how this blanket came together.
This is a stunner Patricia! Such vivid colours. The black makes it pop up.
I thought I had set myself an achievable target in October....only two planned projects....but I was wrong.I did have the squares knitted, but once again, falling behind in the sewing part. This is the same turquoise yarn as before.....the sun was a whole lot brighter today and it changed colour a bit. The turtles are also a darker blue than they appear. The turtles were gifted to me by one of my lovely applique suppliers.
Amazing work, love them both👏👏🐙🐙🐢🐢
