WELCOME TO NOVEMBER
The CoM (colour of the month) is......
BLACK
An understated colour that can go unnoticed until you are looking to make another colour or a pattern stand out.
It is not an 'easy' colour to knit with, if like me, your eyes are getting just a little older.
This month, whatever you may have on your hooks and needles, a little black can go a long way......
It makes a fabulous contrasting colour
Thinking zebra stripes?????
So if you have a little (or a lot) of black in your stash.....
please consider popping a little into a square or two.

So neat Diane . Kudos to you for the plain blacks. So hard on the eyes
Very striking Sharon. Looks like a lot of hard work.
Beautiful squares Arlene.
Adding a blanket that doesn't have the Color of the Month in it, so demerits for me. But I have been working on this blanket intermittently for several months and finally finished it. It is actually a true rectangle, but seems quite lopsided in the photo ... my usual bad camera skills.
Superb blanket Sharon
Wow Sharon that's one fabulous blanket!
A zippy zig zag pattern Sharon. Lots of planning on this one.
Oh my goodness.......a SPECTACULAR blanket, Sharon!!! Absolutely LOVING it!
Fabulous effect, and surely there's a bit of black in that dark variegated, Sharon.
My sixth sense is at it again as I'm working on a chevron blanket for next month!
There might be just a smidgen of black in the variegated, Patricia, but mostly it is shades of purple. And it is very soft, a Sirdar yarn, that is a joy to work with.
And now I'm anxiously awaiting the photo of your chevron blanket next month. I hope the children like them. To me, they seem to have a lot of energy so that makes them fun.
