Don't do it, Lesley - chocolate is surely one of life's main pleasures at our age! Have you tried Toblerone Truffles? I was given a box for Mothering Sunday and they are divine.

They sound delicious, Patricia - I may have to had them to my letter to Father Christmas in December! Meanwhile, like Karen, I do regard posting our parcels as a justifiable expense, and will carry on while I can.
We love "our" African children, Lesley, but there are some sacrifices that are just a step too far ... and giving up chocolate is that step too far. Cutting back might be okay, but definitely not giving up entirely. Of course, I should give up chocolate, bread, croissants, key lime pie, butter, Peppermint Mocha coffee creamer, and a whole list of other things, but while I'm able, I will continue to eat/drink those things and make squares for KAS. Fortunately, my husband is very supportive of this hobby of mine, and when I order yarn, he always asks, "Do you have enough?"

I agree, it was £20.25 for my 2Kg parcel last week. I bought a lot of my wool years ago so don't feel the expense of buying that regularly disappearing from my purse. I'm also gifted a lot of surplus yarn from folk who know I use every gram well. I don't have any vices so I consider my expenditure to be worthwhile for the pleasure and entertainment it gives me - it also keeps me quiet which makes my family very happy too ♥️
Fabulous intro, Patricia. I love each image that you've included. Can I include one more blue animal to the collection, a favorite here in the U.S., Indigo Bunting.
When I lived in Texas, I used to see them in migration, heading north to their breeding grounds, and they were such a bright color that they looked like they had a light on inside of them. It always made the day better when we spotted one of these little gems.
Sounds wonderful, Sharon, but your photo isn't visible on my screen. Is it just me?

So sorry you can't see the pretty bird, Patricia. It shows up on my screen, just as it did when I posted it. I don't have a solution, but hope somebody does.

Here is your beautiful bird Sharon! Love it!
They are passing through right now. I have only seen one fly by.

I thought I'd find a photo myself in case yours never materialises. He's a real beauty!
