    • LOVING your new design, Karen!!!

The yarns you have used are just SO yummy!! The joining 'stripes' give the whole blanket extra pizzazz.

    • Seems like you've hit on a winning idea, Karen. The blanket is beautiful and the fact that it's easier for you to work on is such good news.

    • A great blanket in every way.   The bright border really brings the zing.  I like the four-panel look a lot.

      • Th U, it's a lot easier on my hands + seems to knit up quite fast.   I've got to wait around 12 months for carpal tunnel repair so this design + layout option could be made a lot more in the coming year!

        • I'm so glad you hit on a design that your hands can tolerate.   Still, you need to be careful that you don't overdo.

Did you still do 6 knit sts, 6 purl sts, alternating after 8 rows?

I think we all like this 4-panel look, and I'm now thinking of other crochet sts that might look good if done this way.

          • K3P3, 4 row baskets on 6mm needles.   Knitting this smaller + slightly tighter kept a dainty, feminine and light feel when knit up xx

            • Thank You!

  • Patricia, your blanket reminds me of our sea today. Blue , whitecaps and shining brightly.

    • I agree!  it is so like the ocean waves with the whitecaps and sea foam.
