Happy New Year
to you all.
Well, as the clock ticks past midnight in my part of the world,
we enter a new year of wonderful, warm crafting for 'our' children.
Starting the year off on a bright and cheery note....
The Colour of the Month (CoM) is
ORANGE
How's that for inspiration?
Thankfully, knitting and crocheting adds no calories....haha
Happy New Year.....
knitting and crocheting!!

Wonderful work for warming the children.
For a minute I thought that Blanket 99 used the same yarns that I used for the top and bottom sections of my pink Basketweave blanket (the first one I made using your pattern). But I don't recognize the yarn name at all, so I guess it isn't the same. But yarn companies seem to have similar stuff for those of us on each side of the Atlantic.
I love the way all the leftovers came together in Blanket 100. So much variety and so much interest, the little pops of bright green and yellow are an added bonus. The children will be delighted.
This is the aran I used for blanket 99![13404013472?profile=RESIZE_180x180](https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/13404013472?profile=RESIZE_180x180)
An amazing achievement, Karen. I hope this means your hand problems have eased, although I find this current cold snap is making my joints really stiff and you've probably got it worse than us. Roll on spring!
Amazing work Karen. 100 completed blankets for KAS, plus all your other contributions, KAS is blessed by your efforts.
Oh how I love the yarn you have in the UK. Shipping prices prohibit me from buying all those fabulous products.
Bottom blanket is quite pretty, but I am drawn to blanket 99.
Keep up the good work!
All fabulous, but love the bottom one!
Woo Hoo!!! Three SUPER blankets, Karen!
I think my fave is the bottom one.....LOVING, so much, all the interesting stripes created by 'magic'.
Color of the Month...it is really coral, but close to orange.
Over the holidays we had lots of family in and out for 14 days. We play lots of games, and well, I crochet in between turns and grannies work great. Here is a Blues collection( 4 square blocks and 9 square block) and a Mandela Day collection(4 square blocks). Games played: 3 types of Uno, Skyjo, Azul and Ticket to Ride.
So beautiful and neat! Your (crochet)hands are never at rest!
Fantastic work, Amy. Texture, pattern, color ... you've got it all.
I can't imagine doing all this and playing games too. Not enough brain cells left in this old, gray head for that.
That's what I call multi-tasking, Amy! Gorgeous squares.
