Happy New Year
to you all.
Well, as the clock ticks past midnight in my part of the world,
we enter a new year of wonderful, warm crafting for 'our' children.
Starting the year off on a bright and cheery note....
The Colour of the Month (CoM) is
ORANGE
How's that for inspiration?
Thankfully, knitting and crocheting adds no calories....haha
Happy New Year.....
knitting and crocheting!!

Sharon I wish I could borrow your sister in law. I would put a pile of yarn in front of her and give her free range. A great selection.
I know what you mean, Pat. I wish I could have her here more often or for longer periods, but she is so busy all the time, I feel lucky to have time with her at all. I have so many projects planned, and so much yarn for those projects that I think I might need to grow extra arms to get things done.
Bev you have the most gorgeous appliqués. If you are de-stashing them you must have a bundle. I would use them more often in my squares but I hate sewing them on. Love all your squares.
Baby Unicorns.
Unfortunately the colour combinations didn't work as well as I hoped, but here it is.
This is so pretty! It is going to be some child's treasure for sure.
This is a beauty Sandra. I know the children are going to fall in love with this blanket.
Just the fact that they are unicorns, will ABSOLUTELY delight one lucky little one, Sandra. Although you might not be totally happy with the combinations, the colours in this blanket are lovely. You've started the year off with a bang. :))
It is still a beauty, Sandra. I'm sure that up close the children will see the unicorns in the blanket, then they will have a friend to talk to or to play with, and also a blanket to keep warm.
Seeing Gloria's name on here again reminded me to revisit this pattern which she introduced us to some years ago. Not difficult but lots of concentration needed.
So unusual, love the yarn too
