Well, as the clock ticks past midnight in my part of the world,
we enter a new year of wonderful, warm crafting for 'our' children.
Starting the year off on a bright and cheery note....

Adore these squares. They just brighten up everything.
Squares in bright orange and green variegated....they are square, I'm just a lousy photographer....and I don't care...haha
Aside from the terrible photo, I am disappointed that the orange is very much in the background of the busy variegated. I'm going to do some swing knitting, which I haven't done in a while and hopefully the orange (CoM) may shine a little more.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that makes wonderful squares.
They're still really pretty squares, Bev, but I agree it's disappointing when patterns don't work out how you expect.
I agree with everything Patricia said. These squares are pretty and have an interesting stitch pattern, but I too am often disappointed when I try to mix and match yarns and it doesn't turn out like I imagined. Maybe it's my imagination that needs reworking???
