Happy New Year
to you all.
Well, as the clock ticks past midnight in my part of the world,
we enter a new year of wonderful, warm crafting for 'our' children.
Starting the year off on a bright and cheery note....
The Colour of the Month (CoM) is
ORANGE
How's that for inspiration?
Thankfully, knitting and crocheting adds no calories....haha
Happy New Year.....
knitting and crocheting!!

To the best of my knowledge nothing has changed on the notification front.
LOVE the patterns and in this colour combo, Patricia! The contrast in colours is a standout.
In regards to notifications, I extremely rarely got one after the change in the forum, until about October, I think, last year, when suddenly they seemed to be back to normal.
I'm glad yours are back, Bev. I hope mine sorts itself out then.
These squares are yummy, Patricia. I love the color combination, so bright and lively.
I get notifications of comments, so I just assume that I'm getting them for all the comments on discussions where I have commented myself. Now, I'm wondering if there are some that get missed along the way... hmmm. I guess we should recognize that missing might be happening. If a person asks a question but doesn't get an answer, they should assume their comment didn't get read for some reason, not that the question is being ignored. So, ask the question again, and keep trying until it all gets through.
Lovely squares. I get email notifications of postings + messages, there's always a delay timewise (by just a couple of hours).
I've always had emails until a couple of weeks ago but now I only get a few. It would make more sense if I wasn't getting any because i don't understand why some are getting through but most aren't!
I knit this blanket with Hit Jakar from ebay again (the same as No99), but this time the second strand is Aldi So Crafty Warm Deserts as a nod to the CoM orange.
Love this blanket. The colours remind me of Autumn. My favorite time of the year.
Wonderful cosy blanket in super colour mix.
Hope your appointment for surgery comes sooner rather than later x
LOVE the colours, Karen!....so warm and inviting. Looks like images I have seen of the 'red' desert areas in outback Australia.
39C forecast for here, today.
