Can't say as I've ever heard anyone say that brown is their favourite colour, but it plays quite nicely with other colours.......
There are many shades of 'brown'
and you could include a little or a lot.....
Brown, in a blanket with other colours is stunning......
Or a lovely, contrasting background for a picture square.....
Or perhaps you have something completely different in mind.

I used Gloria's Brick Wall pattern in Tunisian Crochet for these brick squares. Tried one with Mocha yarn and one with Oatmeal, and I'm not thrilled with either one. However, they are Tunisian Crochet, which means they are thick and cushy, and will be warm.
Both fab, but love the white one more!
