Thank you Erica, it's a great feeling when you actually put them in the post.....feel like you are helping. I was going to wait to see if my first lot arrived ok but then I thought no, they'll be fine just post these now, so I did.........The first bundle I posted in December so maybe they will be in the March list.......& yes Sirkku did use the self patterning yarn on that little bear. Sirkku is Finnish & when she goes back every now & again she comes back with the most beautiful yarns!!!

Here is a good wishes ribbon for you Erica. I recently purchased quite a few but because I am not sure how much of the money goes to KAS I am being cautious until I find out. :)

      Hi Erica,

Have you been to my Kas page and read my link on the bottom left in the Spread the Word Kas discussions about my book Wool-Girl and the Balls of Wool? If you have I would love your comments or opinion etc.

Erica the FAQ's page is awesome!!

Thank you so much for putting that together. Bloody brilliant indeed, it will save me so much time.

Can I ask that instead of having the address under the "where do I send my squares" question, you have a link to the postal instructions page? Where possible we need to keep the traffic going to the actual website. I'm going to ask Mum when she has the time to put the FAQ's on the website as well. But in the meantime, wherever we can drive people to the website is great.

Thanks again Erica, this is amazing!!

Yes, I like the idea of interdependent and interactive rather than hierarchical.  Never could understand why some needs were more "important" than others.

      Thanks Erica,

After reading your article I was reminded of Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs,  something I studied in university many years ago ( showing my age by stating that :-)

Although my facebook page is linked only to friends, there are quite a few nieces and nephews who would find this interesting.

May I link your December Project comments to my Facebook page ?

I feel it is important for many people to read these comments.....they pertain to everyone.  For those of us who have toomuch, perhaps it will persuade others to donate squares and /or money to
      KAS.

      Hi Erica

Welcome to our warm KAS community. It's great to see you. We hope you will enjoy the forum and your region's group. You should join the Downunder group.

There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.

We are still continuing our July Challenge - keep a newborn warm, making blankets for abandoned babies, and there were some great results for the August in Africa challenge - you can see photographs under the photos menu. (Details of both challenges in the main forum). We're also continuing our September challenge which is also under "challenges" in the forum and have got the October challenge which is fascinating, please see click the link for further information:

Did you receive the latest ezine? If not you can view it here:

Thanks so much for your contribution already, look forward to being in contact soon.

      Happy Knitting!

      Kalai & Sandy
