Hi Maureen,  Love your photos. I would like to get an email attachment of the form so I can put it on my computer with everything filled in except numbers of items.  My email address is l.b.allen@comcast.net.  thanks so much  Laura Allen

Maureen............an additional thought...........I buy my poly bags for mailing on ebay.  I never can find the right sizes I need at the office supply stores.  I have done most of the mailing for our church group over the last three years and have been using a 20x20 size bag which will hold about 80-85 squares.  When you mail, be SURE to put a paper inside with your squares giving your name, address and the number of squares/items in the bag so you will get credit on the monthly Square List that Ronda posts. ( You will find these on the website by looking on the main page, not the Forum page, at the bottom of the left column where it says Square List.  Click on that and the list of square contributions comes up.)

Hi, Maureen..........Rec'd your message.  There is not a whole lot I can give you advice about regarding mailing.  We have to mail everything to KAS and pay for it ourselves.  There is no drop off site in the U.S.  Would advise that you invest in polyethylene bags for mailing and not use boxes, which take up too much weight.  Also, over four pounds in weight you have to use the larger customs form at the Post Office.  Be sure to write on the bag FOR CHARITY; NO COMMERCIAL VALUE so Ronda won't have to pay a customs fee at her end in South Africa.  If your total squares package is under 4 lbs. use the smaller customs form, BUT the Post Office has strict dimension limits for that weight so check with them. Also, list your contents as worth ZERO for charity.  The Post Office has a new rule that the package must be worth at least a dollar.  I put zero on the customs form and the Post Office lists the worth at one dollar so the computer will take the transaction and everybody is happy and the transaction goes through.  If the value is not listed as one dollar on the PO computer, it won't take the transaction, but the worth has to be seen as zero in South Africa or a customs fee will be charged.  Hope that's clear.  If I can help further, let me know.  Welcome and blessings,  Helen

Hello! Was just logging on to send you that pattern, but looks like you beat me to it and you have it already! - Happy knitting :)

Hi. It can be a bit confusing at first. The easiest way to look at someone's photos is to click on their name to bring up their profile page and scroll down under their profile photo until you get to the item; photos. If you click on that it'll bring up all that person's photos with captions underneath. I've just added a fourth red and white hat to mine...based on the same principle as the others!

Hi Maureen. I'm glad you liked the hat, but which one was it? I have 3 Kareemah hats posted Under the exciting titles of "hat, kareemah hat and DSCF1240"! I don't really have a pattern. I start off with a very basic pattern and change stitches or colour as I feel like it. The basic pattern for "hat" and "DSCF1240" can be found on hooked-on-crochet.blogspot.fr under child's striped cap. But as I say, I make lots of variations.xxx

      Hi Maureen

The video is a link that my friend, Kym sent to me from Youtube on how to needle felt.

    • Karen Bennett August 15, 2012 at 9:58am

Hi Maureen - no, the red and white hat is from a pattern I own, I don't think it's online anywhere - however, if you let me have your email address, I'll happily send a copy over to you. x

Thanks Maureen, that link gives some of it but the majority of the patterns seem to be on the forum lol
