    • Superbes chauffe-mains Pat : j'admire les couleurs et votre courage car comme Bev ce n'est pas ce que je préfère réaliser ; ce n'est pas les coutures qui me bloquent le plus mais le fait de tricoter 2 fois la même chose et chaque fois que je vois des chauffe-mains, les vôtres ou ceux de Diane je culpabilise et décide de "m'y mettre" ne serait-ce que pour utiliser mes nombreux restes de laine mais je ne le fais jamais !!! Je me souviens qu'une année il y avait une grande collecte de chauffe-mains et que cela avait été motivant...

      In particular, I LOVE the purple ones with the green and pink stripes....a striking colour combo.

      Like Patricia and Karen, they are not my favourite thing to make....I think it's the sewing part.

    • Kudos Pat ⭐  I've made plenty of these over the years but really struggle sewing up the stretchy rib sides these days.   I could knit them all day long but my wrists aren't what they used to be and I get vexed at the faffy fiddly bits with a daring needle xx

    • Very much needed, Pat. I'm afraid handwarmers are something I have very little patience with making so I'm always glad to see other people's contributions to make me feel a little less guilty!

  • So many wonderful things have appeared on these pages in the last few weeks!  It was a thrill to browse through and see all the fantastic work.

    I have a simple red and purple blanket.   I know the camera thinks that one of the purple yarns looks like black, but it is really purple.
