The CoM (colour of the month) is......

 

 

BLACK

 

An understated colour that can go unnoticed until you are looking to make another colour or a pattern stand out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is not an 'easy' colour to knit with, if like me, your eyes are getting just a little older.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This month, whatever you may have on your hooks and needles, a little black can go a long way......

 

 

 

 

 

 

It makes a fabulous contrasting colour

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thinking zebra stripes?????

 

 

 

 

 

So if you have a little (or a lot) of black in your stash.....

please consider popping a little into a square or two.

I'm so sorry to hear of Noortje's passing, Ada. If I remember correctly she introduced you to KAS. Thank you for letting us know.

She made so many beautiful squares, blankets, hats, toys and handwarmers for KAS.

Your blanket is BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE the colours you have chosen....bright and cheery......and the patterns, too. A wonderful tribute, from you, in memory of a caring friend.

Bev à priori le noir n'est pas très inspirant pour moi mais vous avez l'art et la manière de stimuler nos envies et notre créativité : c'est toujours exaltant d'essayer d'autres techniques, d'autres points et couleurs. Pour la fatigue visuelle je travaille avec une lampe lumière du jour avec variateur  d'intensité et cela m'aide énormément. Merci pour le mois d'octobre et le turquoise qui nous a fait rêver en nous berçant  entre air et eau.
