WELCOME TO NOVEMBER
The CoM (colour of the month) is......
BLACK
An understated colour that can go unnoticed until you are looking to make another colour or a pattern stand out.
It is not an 'easy' colour to knit with, if like me, your eyes are getting just a little older.
This month, whatever you may have on your hooks and needles, a little black can go a long way......
It makes a fabulous contrasting colour
Thinking zebra stripes?????
So if you have a little (or a lot) of black in your stash.....
please consider popping a little into a square or two.

Fabulous squares Arlene.
De jolis carrés Arlène : magnifiques torsades et un point de riz parfait.
It is always fun to try new patterns and have them work out so well. Super squares.
Every square counts, Arlene, and both are beautiful. I love the sense of achievement you get from trying something new. I remember I made an Aran cardigan many moons ago with cabling and all the other fancy bits. Not sure I'd have the patience now.
Great squares Arlene and you nailed the cables!!
Really lovely, Arlene. The seed stitch border looks great. And congratulations on the beautiful cable design.
Two beauties
LOVE these ones, too.
Congrats on the successful trial of cabling. It looks FAB. Something I've always contemplated....still procrastinating. :))
Mitred variegated stripe and a framed variegated stripe square for COM - Black.

The contrast colour was from leftover yarn from the fish toy last month. (My eyes don't let me work well with plain black!)
Love these colours with the black Arlene.
