WELCOME TO NOVEMBER
The CoM (colour of the month) is......
BLACK
An understated colour that can go unnoticed until you are looking to make another colour or a pattern stand out.
It is not an 'easy' colour to knit with, if like me, your eyes are getting just a little older.
This month, whatever you may have on your hooks and needles, a little black can go a long way......
It makes a fabulous contrasting colour
Thinking zebra stripes?????
So if you have a little (or a lot) of black in your stash.....
please consider popping a little into a square or two.

What a beautiful square! I love the soft peach color contrasting with the sparkly black.
Very zingy, a real statement square
Absolutely DELIGHTFUL, Patricia!!
Wow! Doesn't the sparkly black make that beautiful flower pop?!!
I LOVE it!!
Beautiful xx
Un carré somptueux Patricia
Rather than struggle with plain black I chose a yarn with a white thread running through it, which was much easier on the eyes! The squares are in Wheel Spoke pattern which doesn't show up too well in the photo but are clearer in real life.
Terrific squares, love the mix
This works so effectively as a black for contrast squares, Patricia. I love the colour texture along with the texture of the pattern too.
Great yarn choice and it worked up wo well. These will be a great anchor to any blanket.
Good choice of yarn, Patricia. Especially with the texture of the wheel spoke pattern, they will really enhance a blanket. And your eyes are in good shape for months to come!
