Thank you so much for the detailed reply, Karen - I'm now going to have a think about which route to take while I wait for the yarn I've ordered. (And thank you for pointing me in the direction of the Good Old Fashioned Funky Prints - not seen this before and there are some lovely colours. I may have to buy more in the future !)
Th U, it's a lot easier on my hands + seems to knit up quite fast. I've got to wait around 12 months for carpal tunnel repair so this design + layout option could be made a lot more in the coming year!

I've not used any yet but I've got a bag of this yarn waiting its turn, Lesley. I agree there are some lovely colours. Too hard to resist!
Yes it's a yarn I'm new to but really love the range and value for money. I'm really curious to find out which you chose ♥️
Magnifique couverture Karen et géniale votre idée pour soulager les problèmes de main.
So happy to see the new design that is a winner. I really wish I could get my hand on that yarn...scrumptious!
LOVING your new design, Karen!!!
The yarns you have used are just SO yummy!! The joining 'stripes' give the whole blanket extra pizzazz.
Seems like you've hit on a winning idea, Karen. The blanket is beautiful and the fact that it's easier for you to work on is such good news.
A great blanket in every way. The bright border really brings the zing. I like the four-panel look a lot.
