Welcome to August 2025 ...........
Where, if you choose to do so, you might find a little bit of
yarn on your hooks and needles ......
Can't say as I've ever heard anyone say that brown is their favourite colour, but it plays quite nicely with other colours.......
There are many shades of 'brown'
and you could include a little or a lot.....
Brown, in a blanket with other colours is stunning......
Or a lovely, contrasting background for a picture square.....
Or perhaps you have something completely different in mind.

We look forward to seeing what's on your needles and hooks in August.

2 x 100gm cakes. The bottom set look a little washed out, probably a bit of sunlight. The 'cakes' were called 'Hazel Twirl'.
These are very pretty! Very chocalatey (if that is a word!)
Patricia, where did you find this picture? Looks very old and I see it is a 1lb tin. However, delicious in imperial or metric weights😋😋
Lovely mix of browns, Bev. I wonder what the shade name makes me think of! Yum.
Oh YUM!! Over here,as far as I have ever seen, Cadbury Hazelnut swirls only come in a 'mixed box' selection, where you might get 2-3 in a whole box. However we do get 'family blocks' of Hazelnut chocolate. I just happen to have one......
Great yarn. Love that you have worked the squares on a diagonal.
COM brown: two variegated brown squares. I got a big ball of this and will try different stitch patterns
Mitred and Garter squares to begin.
Two great squares. As others have said, looking forward to seeing how this yarn creates different patterns.
LOVING the two different patternings in your SUPER ball of yarn, Arlene.
I can't pick a fave.....but I'm looking forward to seeing other colourways in due course....NO pressure.....haha.
Fabulous yarn. I can't wait to see all the different designs you come up with.
C'est magnifique Anneke : votre fil panaché crée des effets magiques et comme Patricia j'ai hâte de voir vos autres carrés. De plus le marron uni au bleu sur fond blanc c'est "divin"
