Welcome to October 2025!
The Colour of the Month (CoM) is.......
I thought we could take a trip back in time and revisit
some past 'turquoise' moments.....
I hope these have provided a little inspiration....and whether you create using a little or a lot,
Turquoise will really make your crafting 'pop'.

Here's another blanket in C2C block stitch, made with an ombre turquoise yarn.
This yarn was a real bargain online, and worked up so nicely into an easy blanket. Unfortunately, it came from a shop in Canada that sells mill ends, and they are currently not shipping to the US because of uncertainty about customs charges. I will keep checking as things maybe finally work themselves out, and see if I can still get great bargains that way. So annoying, when all we're trying to do it help children in need!
Gorgeous colour!
Such a pretty stitch, fantastic yarn, love it!
Sorry to hear about the woes with this yarn supplier. This is a gorgeous blanket!
We all need to look for bargain yarn.
How annoying, Sharon!!
LOVE your blanket...it's like white-capped waves....really pretty. :))
I love this, Sharon. So frustrating about the yarn shop.
Magnifique couverture Sharon : turquoise est vraiment une couleur sublime. J'espère que vous allez rapidement retrouver les fils que vous cherchez.
Oh it's beautiful into the bargain too! Turquoise is so light + refreshing ⭐
J'ai ajouté 2 photos carrés Com turquoise : mon papillon pompons n'est pas bien centré mais je l'enverrai tout de même
Around 3 months ago I made a new wool friend Ann. She gave me a big bag of her leftover yarn after I had shown her my random squares etc for KAS. Of course I spilled the bag out that night at home and sorted ply's and amounts, which (another of course) renewed my love of making something out of nothing - so out came ALL the remnants of yarn I had in my stash too. I have used the magic knot to join previous leftovers into prepared balls which I will use for the December theme for a blanket. The small bag of 5 balls is what I now have as the start of my next collection of little balls.
