  So pleased you like your 2019 blanket Ada. I loved selecting squares for it and being able to use squares from so many countries.

  A warm  welcome to the Knit A Square forum.  :))

  Knitting or crocheting an 8" square or two or possibly even a few is a wonderful gift for the children. They love to receive their blankets, created from squares, which come from kindly, caring folk such as yourself, from over 60 countries all over our world.  PJs (Plain Janes as they are affectionately known) are the backbone of all our blankets. These are single colour squares that are in garter stitch(knitting) or single crochet as they are very solid and provide a contrast to a picture/striped/patterned square or two that may be added to a blanket.By clicking on the KASpattern book tab at the top of the page or our other square pattern discussion  http://forum.knit-a-square.com/forum/topics/member-s-patterns-squares you can also find lots of patterns provided by our fellow K-A-Sers.   Hello Ada, A warm welcome  to Knit-a Square. Van harte welkom op het forum van Knit-a-Square. Mocht je vragen hebben over hoe een en ander werkt, je kunt altijd bij terecht. Ik ben erg blij met je lidmaatschap en ik ben natuurlijk razend benieuwd naar je werk. Ik zal je uitnodigen als "friend" , dan kunnen we mailen met elkaar, mocht je iets te vragen hebben. In het begin lijkt het een beetje een doolhof op de website. Maar, het leert al snel hoor! Die Noortje toch, wat ben ik blij dat ze haar schoonzusje en jou enthousiast heeft gemaakt!
